The demand for Bluetooth wireless technology products continues to grow at a rapid rate. With the sheer number of connected devices in homes, offices, and cars, the desire to eliminate cable clutter makes Bluetooth a viable solution. The capabilities of today's mobile communications products are also driving Bluetooth applications that connect these devices to personal area networks. Pdas, printers, computer keyboards and mice, headsets, gaming devices, routers, barcode scanners, cameras, mobile phones, hands-free car kits are just the surface of the products that implement Bluetooth wireless technology. What is Bluetooth?
In short, Bluetooth is envisioned as a replacement for the cables that connect electronic devices. Specifically, it is a short-range radio module that operates in the ISM 2.4 GHz band. The Bluetooth protocol is designed to operate in noisy frequency environments and over short distances (10 meters), using a frequency-hopping scheme to make the link stable. To avoid interference with other signals, radio links quickly jump to a new frequency after sending or receiving data streams (or packets) between devices.
How does CTS support Bluetooth products?进口晶振
As the demand for wireless applications grows, many companies are producing chipsets that provide Bluetooth technology solutions. Most of these chipsets require an external timing device in the form of a quartz crystal that can be multiplied to the 2.4 GHz band. Quartz crystals need to be small, reliable, and provide sufficient frequency stability. CTS models 403,405,406 and 407 are a series of crystals suitable for Bluetooth applications. This ceramic-based package features a seam welded metal lid and comes in a variety of sizes, providing the performance required to operate in a Bluetooth environment. Typical Bluetooth frequencies are 12, 13, 15.36, 16, 24, 26 and 32 MHz, operating in basic resonance mode. User defined operating temperature range, frequency tolerance @ 25°C, stability and load capacitance in the temperature range.
